Official Journal of the Uruguayan Pediatric Society (SUP) and receives for publication works related to children and their environment.

It publishes articles related to medicine, has peer review and double-blind arbitrations.

Publication in continuous online mode, with a biannual periodicity.

To guarantee the originality and quality of the publications, this journal submits its articles to the Crossref Similarity Check Plagiarism detection program. Each article will have an assigned DOI.

The opinions or statements expressed in the journal reflect the views of the authors; they do not represent the official opinion of the Editorial Board unless expressly indicated to do so.

Archives of Pediatrics of Uruguay does not charge any fee for presentation or processing of articles.

The publication of the work is under a Creative Creative Commons license, an open access system, leaving the authors the responsibility for the contents and opinions expressed in it. (Creative Commons https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.es)

The journal is on the open source OJS platform for open access publications.

Archives of Pediatrics of Uruguay adhered to the LOCKSS Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe Program of Stanford University, a requirement of SciELO Uruguay.

Every year we make a backup on the SUP server and on an external disk quarterly, of the files of each issue in pdf format.

It allows interoperability with international indexes and databases such as SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library on Line) and DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journal).

This magazine also adheres to the Ethical Committee for Publications (COPE)
