Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions. Acknowledgements are optional and
should follow the conclusions. The

state of the art and the most important references, which constitute the
fundamental basis of the study. The introduction should also clearly identify
the relevance and the problem to be addressed, stating the study's hypothesis. The author
should include enough data so that the procedures applied in the study can be
replicated. The methods that had previously been published in detail should not
be described; they should be referenced. Authors should specify the name of the
manufacturer of the reagents and products employed, and the origin of the
materials, equipment and instruments used during the study. Every chemical
product used for the study should be identify with name and composition. The
authors should bear in mind that every comment, independent

the findings, make suggestions for future researches, discuss the study's
practical implications and identify its limitations. The
conclusions should be strictly based on the objectives, hypothesis and problem
stated in the introduction, and the results that arise from the study. Tables and images The tables
and images should be included in the template and in a good quality. If the
table or image is bigger than the width of the column, please try to include

(to independently repeat the methodology of a research by using the same
materials). Authors contribution This section
is mandatory and should appear before the references. Please indicate the
contribution each author has made to the manuscript. For example: AX conceived
and designed the analysis; AB collected the data, contributed to data or
analysis tools, performed the analysis, wrote the paper; all authors
contributed equally to the content. Bibliography The
bibliographic references should follow the sequentially numbered system in
order of appearance in the text. For instance, if the first citation is
Rodríguez, it will have the number 1 and appear in the first place on the list
of references. Numbers should be in superscript characters and in

for editors for special issues
Agrociencia Uruguay offers the
possibility of publishing special issues, which can relate to a specific topic
or contributions to events (congress, symposiums, etc.). The articles included
in these issues may be published in English, Spanish or Portuguese. The editorial
committee for special issues should be determined by the interested party and
they should carry out the articles' review process (peer review, subject to a
double-blind process), ensuring that the requirements for quality and
transparency of the information set in Agrociencia
Uruguay are fulfilled. Agrociencia Uruguay is committed
to publishing the special issue in no longer that 2 months after receiving the
last manuscript accepted by the editorial committee for complying with the
regulations of the journal. In order to ensure the rapid publication, in the
case of special issues aimed at events, we request to send the manuscripts
within a period of no more than 3 months after such event. Every special
issue shall be structed as follows: an editorial regarding the topic of the
issue, between 12 and 15 contributions and, as an option, one or two review
articles. The
contributions and reviews shall be sent in accordance with the format set out
by the journal for special issues. You can download the format
here: «template» Those
interested are requested to send a note to agrociencia@fagro.edu.uy including the following information: ·
Information about
the special issue you may consider relevant (title, logo, date and location of
the event, etc.). ·
Indicate the
structure of the organizing committee and the scientific committee (members). ·
