Veterinaria (Montevideo) is the official journal, property of the Society of Veterinary Medicine of Uruguay (SMVU) and, since 2014, the "official organ of scientific diffusion of the Faculty of Veterinary". The publication aims to publish articles in Spanish, English or Portuguese language on scientific, technical and other communications of interest to the Veterinary Sciences. It is a biannual publication (electronic version - web page of the journal). The full volume of each year (two issues) is printed at the end of the year and is distributed free of charge to members of the SMVU. The electronic version of published numbers is maintained in the official website of the magazine (http://www.revistasmvu.com.uy), which allows the free consultation of copies of recent years, as well as free access to published articles. Partial or total reproduction of the contents is permitted mentioning the source.
