Abstract

On the continent the agribusiness model seems to have installed across of concentration and foreign ownership of land, global agribusiness chains, transnational investment and grabbing strategies. In Latin American, has been identified that this onslaught of capitalism has been answered with globalized resistances. Uruguay, is not stranger to the agribusiness offensive, and lives it as the most radical expression of the advance of capitalism in the countryside. In this scenario, this article analyzes the discourses generated by two organizations of family production in the country, reflecting on their forms of resistance and their relationship with the Uruguayan state.
