Abstract

VERASTEGUI GUTIERREZ, Leví  and  RODRIGUEZ AHUANARI, Ricardina. Influence of the integration of ICT to the learning of secondary school students. Cuad. Investig. Educ. [online]. 2024, vol.15, n.1, e210.  Epub June 01, 2024. ISSN 1510-2432.  https://doi.org/10.18861/cied.2024.15.1.3633.

During the last few years, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has become an essential tool with potential in education and with diverse effects that are part of the debate amidst new teaching and learning trends. To this end, this research aims to determine the influence of ICT use on secondary school students' learning. The study was developed through a systematic review of sources from Scopus, Scielo, ScienceDirect, and Dialnet, relying on the PRISMA methodology. Eighteen articles were selected for analysis. Inclusion criteria considered articles less than five years old. The results found that most studies were conducted between 2019 and others in 2022. Thus, it is concluded that in 72% of the articles, a positive influence of ICT on learning was shown. Likewise, social networks and digital formats were highlighted as the resources among ICT with the highest usage, revealing that they possess great potential in a stage of technification that has only just begun for teachers whose experiences will predictably accumulate over time, thus allowing for better results.
