The following article aims at the theoretical analysis of the organization of information to develop the process of oral expression in students of the French for translation course at a university. Twenty-five publications (n = 25) were examined using a technique based on content analysis retrieved from several databases (Scopus, Scielo, Web of Science, Google Scholar), according to the established inclusion criteria. The bibliographic analysis made it possible to discern perspectives on the transformation of data into information, combined with abstract reasoning to generate knowledge. It is concluded that these strategies contribute to the improvement of oral expression in terms of pronunciation, grammar, lexis, observing an improvement in the students of the French course.
