The article presents interpretative advances of a research on teaching practices performed in highly technified environments, by the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, conducted by Mariana Maggio, and co-conducted by Carina Lion. It offers some conceptualizations that derive from the analysis of data gathered from the research and it heads towards some challenges for higher education that are reinterpreted in light of the data that the research throws into an interpretative matrix. It is a qualitative research combined with some features of design research. Although the conclusions are provisional as the research is still ongoing, they allow us to interpret some trends that surround teaching in contemporary cultural scenarios and that are relevant to revisit the current University models and propose pedagogical alternatives for the coming years resulting relevant to society.
