FIGUEIRA, Rosa Attié. Innovations on the expression of agentivity: Remarkable episodes in child’s linguistic trajectory. Lingüística [online]. 2019, vol.35, n.2, pp.105-127. Epub 01-Dic-2019. ISSN 2079-312X. https://doi.org/10.5935/2079-312x.20190020.
Speech acts, in their specificity, play an important role in the study of child-adult interaction. In focusing on daily interactions of Brazilian children learning Portuguese, this article analyses linguistic facts as inseparable from their discursive conditions. Acts of naming and self-predicating (about 1st person), and others where children focus everyday events from a given perspective will be analyzed. The analysis, takes into account bothle direandle dit, and shows that the data selected in terms of their expressing agentivity (longitudinal methodology), includes both, predictable productions, and surprising innovations, which provide striking examples of how each subject inter-relates to his language. The type of approach here adopted is as attentive to the universe of enunciation, as it is committed with the language facts.
