This article presents the unprecedented experience of providing audiovisual content for Brazilian public interactive digital television, enabling the “dialogue” between audiences and businesses through remote control and broadcasting. The experience of interactive digital television was made by Brazil Communications Company (ebc) that , through multiprogramming, established a channel service to help the population of low income assisted by the Bolsa Familia Program. In 2013, the first project experience 4D Brazil was conducted with 100 families in João Pessoa, capital of the province of Paraíba, for three months, and since 2014, the project is being developed in Brasilia, Federal District, with 300 families. The project, which offers new interactive audiovisual content for free, mixed technological innovation, use of multiplatform, multiprogramming and is developed in free software
