This paper intends to systematize the main results obtained from an investigation that sought to reconstruct the political path of the Network of Afro-Latin American, Afro-Caribbean and Diaspora Women (NAAADW) born in 1992 in the Dominican Republic contemplating the celebration of its Meetings of Black Women of Latin America and the Caribbean, along with the most important political events that have affected this organization, its definitions and political initiatives. To do this, first, the theoretical postulates promoted by Afro-descendant and feminist intellectuals and activists in our region will be addressed. Second, the most important characteristics of Afro-Latin American, Afro-Caribbean and diaspora feminism will be specified. Thirdly, the political trajectory of the NAAADW will be synthesized, organized in three moments.

Palabras clave : afro-descendant feminism; intersectionality; political practices; activism.
