This paper deals with the curricular transformations made to the 2014 Study plan of the Bachelor of Education of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences (FHCE) of the University of the Republic (Udelar). From a curricular theory perspective, the review process of the 2014 plan is studied, which began to develop in 2018, consolidating itself through the transformation of its annexes and implemented in 2020, and which continued to expand in successive modifications, reaching the present.
The substantive category is the concept of curriculum, focused on Bernstein's principles of classification and framing. Throughout the article, the modifications made to the 2014 Study plan are analyzed, as well as their impact on the curricular structure and on the career profile, as well as on the academic trajectories of the students. The conclusions presented seek a double level of reflection, both in terms of the modifications of the curricular structure, as well as what this implies regarding the academic trajectory.
