Most injuries were minor and occured during spring and summer. Injuries in extremities were the most frecuent in all ages. However, face injuries were statistically the most frecuent in children under 5 years old. The prevailing injuries were lacerations (49%), being necessary medical aproximation or surgical suture in 20% of the cases. Half of the patiens were prescribed antibiotics at the time of medical attention. 13 patiens (2,8%) were hospitalized after surgical repair. There were no cases of rabies or tetanus in the survey.
