Revista Uruguaya de Ciencia Política (RUCP) is an academic journal specialised in national, regional and international political issues. Its aim is to disseminate research works and essays of high scientific quality, which are yet unpublished in Spanish. It includes book reviews and critical reviews as well.

Its abbreviated title is Rev. Urug. Cienc. Polít., which should be used in bibliographies; page footnotes, and bibliographic references.

RUCP is a refereed journal that uses the peer-reviewed double blind system. It specially targets university readers, political, entrepreneurial and union leaders. As well as government agencies, state organisms, NGOs and specialised political journalism.
